Interesting bit of nostalgia. Today the magnetic strip fell off on my bank client card. Since the client card has no expiration date, I’ve been using the same one since I originally got started with RBC.
My mom got me a Little Leo savings account through the bank. She stressed how important it was to build up credit over years, and made decisions based on that. My parents used to give me a few dollars and I would walk through dollarama looking at utensils I could hot glue together
The manufacturer label says it was made in 2011; it’s over 15 years old.
