Played squash today with Patrick.
Borrowed his racket. Wore long trackpants and my thin dino tee wasn’t too hot, drove in. Wore plain safety glasses. Had a huge amount of fun.
Was expecting that I would have a lot of trouble with my hands I had an RSI flare up that week but apart from one fee Bounce Off the Wall that caused tingling this seems to have actually been a positive. Muscles were very sore but in a good way.
Would a helicopter pirate be called a swashbuckler?
Canvassing
Went canvassing for a political party (you can probably guess who).
It’s summer. Check list:
- Fully charged CAT phone
- Fully charged Pixel
- pin/badge
- Sunscreen
- bottle of water you need more than you expect
- Kleenex & allergy meds
- mask
- little pocket notepad and pen to scratch notes on - writing on phone or tablet kind of breaks the empathy of a conversation
