In one embodiment:

    - Remember to push down the start toggle.
  • Set a timer for 20 minutes.

Cooking turkey.

  • Add a large amount of peas + carrot + corn mix to large bowl. Microwave for 15 minutes.

  • Fry 2 flats of turkey in 2 pans on 2 burners.

  • Add a generous amount of sesame oil.

  • Add a generous amount of soy sauce.

  • Once turkey is thoroughly cooked, mix in peas and corn.

Makes about 5 trays of food.

[!warning]
Two flats of turkey is too much for even the biggest pot on the big burner. Do each flat on a separate burner.

Dispense in a thin layer in 5 Rubbermaid Take-alongs. Freeze immediately.

[!note]
Don’t use the big tubs because they don’t freeze or thaw quickly.

Cost

$20 ($10 per flat turkey x2) + $1 rice ($20 / 8 kg) + $3.5 frozen veg (10 dollars / 2 kg) / about 4 meals

= $6.25 / meal

Timing

Including cleanup, it took about an hour for me to cook in one case, not including the time to cook the rice.

The cutoff for starting would be around 6:45 pm. I left work at 5:45 and had just enough time to finish cleaning up before quiet time.
